THE WOODLANDS, TX – Quote of the week: “Summer’s lease hath all too short a date.” – William Shakespeare

It’s the last week of July, and it’s crunch time to fit in as many activities as you can before the school year starts up and we careen towards autumn and the holidays. Here’s a sampling of some of our favorites!

All Week
The YMCA’s annual Operation Backpack
is underway! For 18 years, YMCA Operation Backpack has provided school supplies for children in communities across the Houston area, filling them with hope for a brighter future as they start the school year. The children in our community need us now more than ever. We serve pre-K-12th Grade with the drive. Your investment provides children the opportunity to return to learning with the tools to be successful. Funds raised will be used to purchase packaged school supplies that will be distributed to children in need in communities across the Houston area. Make a donation at your local HEB either in-store or online when doing curbside shopping.
