Solid Waste Service In The Woodlands Not Impacted by Holiday Weekend

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township reminds residents that all solid waste services in the community will occur as usual over the Labor Day holiday. There will be no interruption or delay of trash, recycling or yard trimmings services due to the holiday. All services will be provided on regular service days, including Monday, September 5, 2022.

For trouble-free pick-up, please place carts at the curb before 7 a.m. on your regular pick-up day. Remember to keep streets clear of parked cars to allow trucks to safely access carts and follow service guidelines. Noncompliance may result in items being left at the curb. The Woodlands Recycling Center on Research Forest Drive will be open every Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. regardless of holidays.

The only holidays that affect residential trash and recycling collection are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
