CONROE, TX --Grand Central Park took home multiple awards —including Master-Planned Community Amenity Center of the Year for The Lake House — at this year’s Houston’s Best PRISM Awards hosted by the Greater Houston Builders Association

The award was one of three trophies the Conroe community won at the Oct. 1 event. Grand Central Park also garnered awards for Event of the Year and Marketing Campaign of the Year.

“It is an honor to have been recognized by our peers,” said Amanda Burke, Director of Marketing for Grand Central Park. “We are particularly excited about The Lake House taking home the award for best amenity center. It has only been open a year, but it has already become the heart of our community.”

The 7,600-square-foot Lake House was noted for the modern design, skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for ample natural light while offering views of the surrounding lake and forest.

Anchored by a resort-style pool, the complex features a fitness center, coffee bar, 1,400-square-foot event area, dog park, playground and 6,000-square-foot shaded pavilion. A spacious two-tiered patio overlooks the lake.

The public can rent The Lake House for parties, weddings and corporate events.

The grand opening celebration for The Lake House received recognition for Event of the Year – Master-Planned Community. Targeted toward people specifically interested in buying in Grand Central Park, the event featured tours, miniature golf, food and prizes.

Highlighting the community’s natural amenities was the goal of the Pure Living campaign, winner of Marketing Campaign of the Year - Developer. Direct mail, video, social media, emails and more communicated how Grand Central Park fulfills a need to live in a more natural environment, whether it be for relaxation, connection, excitement or adventure.

Grand Central Park was a finalist for Billboard Branding of the Year and lifestyle Director of the Year.

Earlier this year, the Johnson Development master-planned community was named Best Overall Community More than 600 Acres during the 2022 Texas Association of Builders Texas Star Awards.
