THE WOODLANDS, TX – The weather doesn’t typically get any better than right now; sunny, breezy, not too humid, and not too sweltering. Alas, for the weekend, this is as good as it gets.

Slowly but surely the sun will hide more and more behind gathering clouds all weekend

After lunchtime today, the dew point will steadily rise as the pressure equally falls. We’ll hit our high of 84 under cloudless skies later this afternoon, then the temps will pivot and not stop dropping until they’re well into the lower 60s tonight. This makes it perfect outdoor weather for the entire family, and we’d like to suggest Trunk or Treat at The Y at the YMCA’s Branch Crossing location starting tonight at 6 o’clock.

As Saturday morning progresses, the clouds will start moving in with a purpose, maybe even bringing with them the teeniest-tiniest chance of rain. With the clouds will come some brisk winds, hitting up to 15 mph from the south. Another early afternoon high in the mid 80s plummeting down to a low in the mid 60s will definitely bring thoughts of autumn to Woodlanders. You might even be inspired to dress up and hit The Woodlands Charities’ Into the Woods Gala at The Waterway Marriott.

The clouds won’t even try to hide out on Sunday, and instead will come swarming in. The skies will only be about half-sunny for pretty much the entire day, as winds kick back in and dampness diffuses the air. The temps will go up a couple of degrees for their highs and lows – upper 80s and upper 60s, respectively – to make for what just might be the epitome of autumn weather. Grab some layers of clothing and head out to The Woodlands Resort Curio Collection for its Fall Nature Walk With a Craft event.

Fair warning that next week just might start off with a lot more clouds and rain, so get that outdoor fun in while you can!
