THE WOODLANDS, TX – If nothing else, this week we don’t have to worry about icy roads, fallen power grids, or frozen pipes. In fact, it’s time to dust off the air conditioners, because this week is definitely not feeling the winter.

It’s decidedly non-holiday this week

We’re already at our maximum cloud cover for the day, so skies should clear up a bit as our high settles at 79 shortly after lunch. The clouds and chances of rain will both diminish overnight, but neither will completely go away as we ‘enjoy’ an overnight low of 67.

Tomorrow, the pressure will steadily rise as the clouds return in force. The humidity will also jack up, so our high of 81 – yes, 81 – will feel like 84. Like Monday the day before, the morning clouds will give way to afternoon sun. Once again, we’ll have to deal with lows in the upper 60s.

Wednesday will basically be a repeat of the day before; morning clouds, afternoon sun, high humidity, and a high of 84 with three degrees tacked on due to the humidity. Another low in the 60s awaits.

Showers might hit Thursday morning, and the clouds and humidity will get us up to our warmest day yet, with a high of 82.

Friday presages some hope of reclaiming the holiday spirit; though the clouds and rain chances remain, the high will only get to 79 under partly cloudy skies. BNut enjoy it while you can, because there just might be some thunder and lightning coming up this weekend…

Stay tuned on Friday as we bring you Woodlands Weekend Weather.
