Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Solves Business Burglaries, Ties Suspect to Crime Spree
PORTER, TX -- On Thursday, October 30, 2025, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a burglary of a building call on FM 1314, involving the Boost Mobile Cell Phone Store and the RB Mobile Repair Store.
Deputies on the scene recognized a potential link to an earlier incident. A suspect, Andrew Burrows, had been arrested earlier that day following an evading arrest case. At the time of his arrest, Burrows was found to be in possession of a large quantity of cell phones and tablets.
Montgomery County Sheriff's Office detectives were notified and began gathering evidence from the burglary scenes. Detectives proceeded to the Montgomery County Jail, where Andrew Burrows was being held. Through their investigation, detectives were able to obtain a full confession from Burrows regarding his involvement in the burglary of both the Boost Mobile and the RB Mobile Repair store.
Burrows has been officially charged with felony burglary of a building, in addition to his previous charges from earlier in the day, which include evading arrest and intimidation- assault class c. Investigators are working to return all the recovered stolen property to its rightful owners.
Burrows remains in custody at the Montgomery County Jail at this time.
