TH WOODLANDS, TX -- Two drivers were arrested and charged with Racing on a Highway following a traffic stop conducted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in the late hours of Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on November 12, a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputy assigned to the Woodlands Township observed two vehicles—a BMW passenger car and a Chevrolet pickup truck—lining up at an intersection on Research Forest Drive traveling eastbound. The Deputy observed both vehicles accelerate rapidly from the green light, engaging in what appeared to be a street race as they attempted to outdistance each other down Research Forest Drive at a high rate of speed.

The Deputy initiated a traffic stop, and both vehicles complied and pulled over. Based on the Deputy’s subsequent investigation, both individuals were arrested for Racing on a Highway.

The arrested drivers were identified as 18-year-old Nicolas Brezovar, a resident of The Woodlands, and 26-year-old Caleb Eaves, a resident of Magnolia. Both vehicles were impounded and towed from the scene. Brezovar and Eaves were subsequently booked into the Montgomery County Jail.

A public reminder, Street Racing is strictly prohibited and highly dangerous, posing a significant risk to public safety and property. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will continue to actively enforce all laws against dangerous driving behaviors like racing to ensure the safety of our community's roadways.
