Magnolia Firefighters Respond to Two Major Incidents Late Friday Night

MAGNOLIA, TX -- Magnolia fire crews handled two significant incidents late Friday night.

Around 11:00 p.m., units responded to a residential structure fire in the Indigo Lakes subdivision near Country Lake. Crews made a quick and aggressive offensive attack; however, due to the intensity of the fire, believed to have originated in the garage, the residence still sustained significant damage. Two vehicles were found burning inside the garage upon arrival.

As firefighters continued overhaul operations at that scene, another call came in on the opposite side of town reporting smoke and flames coming from Nail Kitchen. Engine E186 arrived within minutes and rapidly extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading further.
