THE WOODLANDS, TX – Children’s Safe Harbor, a locally based nonprofit organization, whose mission is to achieve justice and healing for every abused child and engage our community, recently announced that movement has begun on clearing the land for its new facility.

Construction company Tellepsen Builders began clearing land at 3006 North Loop 336 East in Conroe. Situated on nearly 18 acres amidst a cluster of mature trees, the new facility will bring new hope to abused and traumatized children and their families and the heroes who are called to protect them.

Jonathan Shaw, vice president of Tellepsen, said, “Breaking ground on the Children’s Safe Harbor Project is more than just construction; it’s about aligning out mission with the impactful goals of CSH. This project lays the foundation for a facility that will have an endless ripple effect of positive change in our community. It is an honor and we are thrilled to be a part of something that promises to make such a meaningful difference.”

Children’s Safe Harbor will hold a private groundbreaking ceremony in June. Anyone wishing to donate to the capital campaign, check the progress of completion, or become a Naming Donor of the project can visit www.childrenssafeharbor.org.

“Thank you for your continued belief in our children’s advocacy center and partnership on this journey,” said Victoria Constance, executive director of CSH. “It’s not just a building; it’s a gateway to justice, healing, and hope.”
