The Woodlands G.R.E.E.N. Accepting Applications for Scholarship Program
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Applications are now being accepted by The Woodlands G.R.E.E.N. for the environmental organization’s 2010 Scholarship Program. This year’s program has been expanded to include Lone Star College-Montgomery students residing in the County, as well as students residing in The Woodlands Village of Creekside Park.
Scholarship awards of $1,000 each will be awarded to graduating seniors and Lone Star College-Montgomery students in recognition of their environmental contributions and stewardship activities in the community.
To download the scholarship application, visit The Woodlands G.R.E.E.N. Web site at the link below and click on Student GREEN. Applications are due by April 30. For more information about the scholarship program or Green Student Ambassadors, TWG’s stewardship program for high school students, please contact Debra Wymore, Scholarship Coordinator.
