These may be a little pricey, but a family can pool their money together to get mom a real wow gift.

Giftcards are becoming an increasingly popular gift. Some may see gift cards as unthoughtful, but others may find a gift card to go shopping the perfect gift. This way mom picks out what she wants and has the thrill of shopping for herself. Pick one up from her favorite store, the mall or a department store.
