Registration for Township swim teams

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Registration for The WoodlandsTownship swim teams (Hurricanes, Riptides and Waves) begins Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Returning swimmers must register by Wednesday, Feb.15, to be on the same team they were on last summer. Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 15, registration will be open to everyone.

Any child interested in joining the swim team must be at least 5 years old and must be able to swim 25 yards (one length of the pool) both freestyle and backstroke in one minute and be able to attend practices. Swimmers who have not participated on a swim team must be evaluated prior to being placed on a team.

These highly successful teams were all undefeated in their divisions during the 2011 swim season. Registration is limited.
