Tap your toes to 'Music on the 10's' this August at the Fountains at Waterway Square
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The choreographed Fountains at Waterway Square will perform to a selection of toe tapping musical favorites every ten minutes on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in August as part of the “Music on the 10’s,” making Waterway Square a great spot to visit before or after dinner or while out with friends and family.
Every Friday in August from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. and every Saturday and Sunday during the month from noon – 11 p.m., the fountain’s cascading waterfalls, booming water jets and colorful lights will perform to a different song every ten minutes ensuring visitors experience the dancing columns of water and choreography of motion and sound without waiting more than a minute or two between songs. The August “Music on the 10’s” include Abba’s "Dancing Queen," the medley from Grease, "Singing In The Rain," "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor, "Footloose" by Kenny Loggins, "All Night Long" by Lionel Richie, "I Got a Feeling" by The Black Eyed Peas, "Kokomo" from the Beach Boys, "Mack the Knife" and "Overture/All That Jazz."
Aquatic Design and Engineering, Inc., designer of several major water features including those at Disney Resorts in Orlando, designed the 120-foot long Fountains at Waterway Square. The surrounding park was designed by Sasaki Associates, designers of the 2008 Olympic Green in Beijing, China and other notable projects.
