Summer activities for kids in The Woodlands
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- As summer begins, parents go through the daily hustle and bustle of trying to keep their little ones entertained with all sorts of activities and events. But not to worry, there are few exciting events just around the corner to keep your kids busy.
Summertime Kids Camp is a camp which started on June 10th and ends August 23rd. The beauty of this camp is that your child can join whenever he/she feels like - depending on what sorts of activities they would like to participate in. One camp day costs 30 dollars for members while non-members cost 35 dollars and prices go up from there.
If your child is interested in music, Big Time Rush and Victoria Justice are performing at the Pavilion on June 28th. Tickets are on sale at the Pavilion website with lawn seating being sold at the lowest price of 19 dollars. For your teenagers, the Pavilion is hosting a Pitbull and Kesha concert on June 22nd. Tickets are also being sold for this concert on the Pavilion website.
For all those kids who have an artistic or creative side, join Pinot’s Palette on June 19th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to paint cupcakes. Parents can go online and book a class to receive a 15% discount.
Along with painting, kids can join a sewing camp starting on the June 17th to the 20th. Kids will learn sewing machine basics and make simple bags, a pillow case and pajama pants all within the four days of the camp. The camp costs 155 dollars for all four days.
