The Woodlands Children's Museum to hold 4th anniversary celebration on July 11
THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Join The Woodlands Children's Museum for birthday cake and a day of magic, music and fun.
The museum will celebrate its fourth anniversary from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, July 11, at the museum, 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280. Special activities and performances are included in the cost of admission, which is $5 for those age 2 and older.
Destiny Burwell of Firework Face Painting will be on hand to liven up the day by painting just about any character or animal – from Hello Kitty to Spider-Man.
Frozen Bliss, a shaved ice business that uses real fruit syrups, will be on location selling tasty frozen treats. And, there may even be a surprise visit from members of the Houston Rockets who will raffle off cool prizes and host a Pop-A-Shot game.
Live entertainment is also on the bill – with several time slots to choose from:

11:05 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.
Noon to 12:20 p.m.
-- Claude Sims the Juggler
12:45 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
1:35 p.m. to 1:55 p.m.
-- Acclaimed, child-friendly magician Scott Hollingsworth
11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Daily admission is $5 per person 2 years and older. There is no charge for children under 2 and for museum members. Museum activities are recommended for children ages 7 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
