N’dia Warren-Jacques recognized for winning 5A Girls’ Shot Put State Championship

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Oak Ridge High School’s N’dia Warren-Jacques was recognized at the July 15 Board meeting for winning the 2014 State 5A Girls’ Shot Put State Championship at the Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 10, 2014. N’dia threw a shot put 48’10” to be crowned the State Shot Put Champion and is currently ranked number 7 in the nation.

N’dia participated in track and field all four years at Oak Ridge High School and will continue her track and field career next year at the University of Texas where she will be coached by Ty Sevin, previously a coach for the U.S. National Team.

Oak Ridge High School Principal, Mr. Tommy Johnson, introduced this talented and deserving young woman and her coach, Kristina Dube. Congratulations to N’dia Warren-Jacques and to her coach, Kristina Dube, for this outstanding accomplishment.
