Third Annual Woodlands Online Giving Tree Farm to give the gift of hope this Christmas

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Give the gift of hope and giving this season with the third annual Woodlands Online Giving Tree Farm. Six local non-profits throughout the Montgomery County area will be participating and the community has a unique opportunity to collect items each organization needs.

The Giving Tree Farm will be set up in the Woodlands Online office, located at 33300 Egypt Lane, Suite B500, Magnolia, TX 77354 from December 1 until December 21. During that time, residents and businesses can stop by and pick ornaments off the tree(s) any weekday between 9am and 5pm. Each ornament will list a donation item that the non-profit needs during this Christmas season.

The following non-profits will use your gifts to help provide for those in our area that are in need this season:

Interfaith of The Woodlands

Interfaith of The Woodlands is a non-profit social service agency providing family, child, work and senior programs and services.

NEEDS:


Gift for a girl 0-3

Pregnancy Assistance Center North

Pregnancy Assistance Center North (PACN) is a non-profit pregnancy medical clinic that offers confidential services for women and men.

NEEDS:


Diapers (sizes 2, 3, & 4)

Baby food stage 1&2 (fruits and dinners)

Formula

Baby booties/socks (size 0-3)

Toiletries (baby wash, baby shampoo, diaper cream) *please no powder

Small gifts for women (lip gloss, hair care products, lotions, body splash)

Monetary donations for new crib/crib mattress

Pacifiers

Preemie outfits

Newborn outfits (size 3-6 months)

Wal-Mart and Target gift cards (up to $30)

The Ruff House

The Ruff House provides short term boarding and care to household pets who risk abuse, neglect, or abandonment because of the temporary or unexpected life crisis of their owners. The goal of The Ruff House is to care for dogs and cats in a residential-type setting at no cost or low cost for people in the community with limited resources.


Comfortable bedding or banket for a dog or cat

Bags of dry dog and cat food (preferably from Natural Pawz)

Purchase a plush toy at Raising Cane’s (Research Forest and Rayford locations); proceeds are given to Ruff House

Operation Military Embrace

Operation Military Embrace (OME) is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) non-profit charity that works to help, understand, give and serve those who have sacrificed so much for America. At OME, volunteers host motivational events for wounded/ill veterans and their families, provide financial assistance, send care packages to deployed troops, and much more.

The Panther Creek Inspiration Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit facility whose mission is to enhance and transform the lives of children, individuals and families struggling with mental and physical challenges. The Ranch offers exceptional equine programs in a loving Christian environment.
