Township hosting Touch-A-Truck

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Woodlands Township will host its annual Touch-A-Truck event, on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 9-11 a.m. in the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center parking lot, located 6535 Creekside Forest Drive.

Touch-A-Truck is a unique event that brings together local companies and the communities where they work and live. It encourages children of all ages to touch vehicles, ask questions and even climb on the trucks and vehicles on display.

Along with The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department, The Woodlands Fire Department, Tomball Independent School District, Cypress Creek Emergency Medical Services, Vanguard Truck Center of Houston, Bio Landscape, Waste Management, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Brickman, Imagi-Motive and Munday Chevrolet will all be present with trucks and vehicles to see and touch. In addition, there will be a do-it-yourself kids’ construction zone equipped with fun crafts and games.
