New delivery service helps Mom's Secret Chef grow by offering more convenience

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – If having a delicious homemade dinner ready to go wasn’t convenient enough, Mom’s Secret Chef recently kicked up the convenience notch by offering meal delivery service. And it has proven to be a recipe for success.

On Wednesdays, delivery of entrées and casseroles complete with garden salad and fresh rolls are being delivered to zip codes 77354, 77384, 77381, 77382, parts of 77389, and the May Valley subdivision.

Meredith Lamb of The Woodlands, loyal weekly delivery customer, said, “I love the fact that I know we have a healthy prepared meal waiting for us when we get home after a hectic day traveling back and forth to Texas Medical Center with my son. Mom's Secret Chef has been a tremendous help to me!”

Customers can also come in to Mom’s Secret Chef store in the North Woodlands/Magnolia area at 5135 FM 1488 (west of Kuykendahl and east of 2978) and purchase a variety of fresh and frozen entrées and casseroles, such as King Ranch Chicken, Cajun Pork Roast, or Creamy Chicken Enchiladas, vegetable side dishes and desserts, cakes and cookies.

The delivery service is a perfect gift idea for occasions that traditionally call for bringing food to show care and concern such as a new baby, a birthday, a new neighbor or an illness. Also, bringing prepared homemade food for lake house vacations and getaways make the time away that much more relaxing as you don’t have to worry about cooking.

The new delivery service has allowed Mom’s Secret Chef to grow by updating the facilities and expanding the business to include more entrée choices and group delivery, called Mom’s Express, bringing the convenience to area schools and promoting work/life balance for busy employees at area businesses.

In-store prices range from $17 to $22 for an entrée that serves four people. Mom’s Secret Chef delivery meals complete with garden salad and fresh rolls (dessert extra) serving four are $30 and dinners for six are $40, including tax and delivery.
