District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

The following Driving While Intoxicated arrest(s) were made:

On Nov. 15, a male suspect, 40, was arrested for DWI after a traffic stop on Riley Fuzzel. When asked for identification the suspect stated he didn’t have a driver’s license due to a previous conviction for DWI. The suspect emitted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that became stronger as he spoke. He had bloodshot, glassy eyes and had a hard time maintaining his balance. After conducting the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, Dep. Martin felt the suspect was intoxicated and was thus taken into custody.

On Nov. 20, a female suspect, 25, was arrested for DWI after backing into another vehicle and leaving the location. The witnesses called 9-1-1 and followed the suspect until deputies arrived. The suspect emitted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that became stronger as she spoke. She had bloodshot, glassy eyes and had a hard time maintaining her balance almost falling multiple times. When asked for identification the suspect stated she didn’t have a driver’s license due to a previous conviction for DWI. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

Man Arrested for Fighting and Intoxication

On Nov. 16, Dep. Hernandez responded to a Disturbance in Progress at 25650 IH-45. Upon arrival at the scene, Dep. Hernandez observed there to be blood spatter and smears on the sidewalk, gate and front door to a residence. Upon making entry to the residence and speaking with all parties, two suspects were given citations for Disorderly Conduct (Fighting). Another male suspect, 46, was taking into custody for Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct (Fighting).

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)

Stolen Car Recovered

On Nov. 22, while on routine patrol, Dep. Viands was checking random license plates, when he received a stolen hit on a grey Chevrolet Malibu. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot at 3040 College Park Drive. The male driver, 24, was found to be at the MCSO Jail at the time due to being arrested for Shoplifting on Nov. 4.

DWI Arrest

On Nov. 23, Dep. Cano observed a vehicle driving recklessly and was unable to maintain a single lane of traffic. He initiated a traffic stop at 21707 IH-45. The male driver, 22, emitted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that became stronger as he spoke. He had bloodshot, glassy eyes, slurred his speech and seemed disoriented. The subject was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.

Marijuana Possession, Wanted Man Arrested

On Nov. 23, Dep. Houstoun was alerted by dispatch of a vehicle in which the passengers were reported to be smoking marijuana. Dep. Houstoun located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. During the course of the investigation, Dep. Houstoun, with the help of Pct. 3 Dep. Eyring and the drug dog, located three pills, identified as Cyclobenzatrine, as well as marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. The male driver, 22, was charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Possession of Marijuana. A male passenger, 22, was found to have an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 1201 Lake Woodlands:

On Nov. 21, a female suspect, 39, was seen entering the housewares department and selecting several items that she took to the register where the other suspect was working. A male suspect, 34, then made several fraudulent returns, placing the items in bags or affixing with a tape handle that he returned to the first suspect. She then proceeded to leave the store where Loss Prevention stopped her and returned her to the security office to be processed for theft. During processing she was found to be using the identity of another person when making the transaction. The employee suspect left the store as soon as he saw the female suspect was detained. He was stopped a short distance outside the store and also returned to the security office to be processed for theft. Both suspects were taken into custody for Theft >$500/<$1500. The female suspect was also charged with Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information.

On Nov. 22, a male suspect, 15, entered the store and selected three pairs of jeans. He then entered the dressing room and put 2 pairs of jeans on under the clothes he was wearing. He then passed several points of purchase without attempting to pay for the merchandise and exited the store where he was approached by Loss Prevention officers. He was escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $98. The suspect was taken into custody for Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility without further incident.

The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 3040 College Park Drive:

On Nov. 14, a female suspect, 18, entered the store and selected 11 items and placed them in the pockets of the clothes she was wearing. She then passed several points of sale without attempting to pay for the concealed items. She was stopped outside the store by security and returned to the Loss Prevention office to be processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $60.62. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
