THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands High School baseball right-fielder Kolbi Brown summed it up in a post-game tweet. Brown tweeted, “Bottom line, you can’t throw a fastball to Chris Andritsos, Alex Dunlap or Cater Hope.”

Andritsos hit a pair of two-run homers in his first two trips to the plate, finished with five RBIs, and Alex Dunlap delivered a grand slam home run in the sixth inning of the Highlanders’ 11-1 win over College Park Tuesday night at The Diamonds at College Park.

Andritsos continues a sensational sophomore season with his 10th and 11th home runs of the season. He is among the nation's leaders in homers.

Hope (RBI) and Luke Sherley each added two hits to the 10-hit attack while Brown added another and Charlie Warren drove in a run.

Ryan Burnett went the distance, firing a three-hitter while striking out seven. He tweeted after the game, “Good win tonight boys.”

Nate Fisbeck had two hits for College Park and Noah Vaughan added the other.

The Cavaliers slip to 8-11 overall and 1-2 in district play. College Park visits Lufkin for a 6 p.m. Friday game.

The Highlanders, ranked No. 1 in the nation by USA Today, improved to 17-0 for the 2013 season and 4-0 in District 14-5A play, setting up a 7 p.m. Friday showdown at Scotland Yard with the Oak Ridge War Eagles, a 5-1 winner at home over Conroe on Tuesday.

Luken Baker pitched 6 1/3 innings of two-hit baseball as the War Eagles improved to 12-6 overall and 3-0 in district.

Oak Ridge backstop Gavin Grissom led the War Eagle offensive attack with three hits. Alex Walker and Zack Maidens had a hit and an RBI each and Kim Plympton contributed an RBI.

Baker threw nine K's and walked three. Conroe's run was unearned. Marshall Kasowski was the War Eagles’ closer.
