THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition (TWRC) has been helping wildlife since 1979, admitting and rehabilitating nearly 6,000 animals a year. The TWRC Wildlife Center in The Woodlands has been helping wildlife in The Woodlands area since July 2012, due Commissioner Ed Chance, who graciously allowed the organization to occupy a building located near the entrance of the Spring Creek Greenway.

Commissioner Noack asked for coalition to vacate premises October 1.

Commissioner Chance retired in January, and newly-elected Commissioner James Noack, has other plans for the building. On short notice, Commissioner Noack has asked TWRC Wildlife Center to vacate the building by October 1st.

TWRC is seeking new opportunities to re-establish its presence in the area, while continuing to serve wildlife at its northwest Houston location at 10801 Hammerly Boulevard. Concerned citizens who have an opportunity for TWRC to relocate within the community please call the Executive Director of TWRC Wildlife Center, Roslyn Even.
