THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Chris Andritsos delivered two hits, including a solo homer, drove in three runs, and struck out nine in a distance-going five-hit shutout as The Woodlands High School baseball team blanked Bryan 6-0 on the road Tuesday.

The win lifted the Highlanders to 18-3 overall and 4-0 in District 14-5A play, setting up a 7 p.m. Friday showdown at Scotland Yard with the College Park Cavaliers (14-6), also unbeaten at 4-0 in district play.

Andritsos needed just 79 pitches to subdue the Vikings. He did not walk a batter and had a hand in The Woodlands' four-run second inning driving a single that scored Luke Sherley.

He punctuated the win with a line drive homer to start the seventh inning.

Andritsos was one of eight Highlanders to hit safely. Colton Wardle, Mark Doerries, Aaron Milone and Scott Stephens were also among that list along with Hillin Warren, Casey Schneider, and Ben Gooch.

The group helped to extend The Woodlands' win streak to 10 games. College Park comes into Friday's showdown on a five-game win streak of its own.
