Tavola Bistro to close next week

THE WOODLANDS, Texas--With deep sadness, the staff at Tavola Bistro has announced that they will be closing. With a great love for the Bistro and for this community, the owner and staff want their customers to know how much they will miss them. For the last few years, they have struggled to maintain the business in the local restaurant market with the growth the community has seen. Tavola Bistro prides itself on being able to survive the economic struggles that have plagued the nation and community as a whole for the last few years. Being a small, family-owned business, they have considered their employees and customers to be part of the family, and cannot express the extent to which their customers will all be missed.

“We have considered it an honor to serve our community,” said owner Lee Ann Dansby. “We love our customers.”

However, Tavola is excited to announce that they will be moving forward with their catering division, Tavola Catering, which is what the business was founded on. They are expanding the catering side and will still be located here in the area. A lot of the items on the Bistro menu will be available for catering.
