THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The South Montgomery County YMCAs offer a variety of camp options for parents who are looking for a safe and fun place for their kids, ages 5 – 15, to build healthy mind, body and spirit this summer. YMCA Day Camp and summer youth activities reinforce the Y’s core values of respect, responsibility, honesty, caring and faith along with an emphasis on healthy living and youth development.

To ease parent’s peace of mind - What sets the Y summer camp program apart from other camps?


Licensed camp program through the Texas Department of State Health Services ensuring the highest standards of compliance are met for the overall health, safety and wellbeing of each camper.

The YMCA offers lower camper to staff ratios.

ALL Y Camp Staff are background check, required to attend 40 hours of training, and are CPR, First Aid & AED certified.

Education enrichment opportunities such as literacy and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) are included in the weekly activities to help your camper learn, grow and explore.

Convenient shuttle bus from the Shadowbend Y to Creekside Y is available.

Care is available from 7am – 6:30pm for the working parent.

Pre and Post Care, 7 – 9am and 4:00 – 6:30pm, is included in the weekly session fee.

Registration is available for 1 day, 1 week or all summer long.
