John Cooper students gain real-world experience through EfTA Internship Program

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Each summer, John Cooper School students who are about to become seniors, participate in the Education for Tomorrow Alliance (EfTA) Student Internship Program (SIP) to gain real-world experiences in a variety of fields. Students work 80 unpaid hours, typically in June, alongside mentors at local businesses to better understand a profession of interest to them. A luncheon was held on June 26 to recognize and thank the business mentors and interns. Dr. Bonnie Dunbar, former astronaut and director of the University of Houston STEMCenter was the keynote speaker. Thirteen Cooper students participated in the SIP program this summer:
