Decorate Pumpkins without Carving! Fall Family Day Cornelius Nursery, Oct. 4

HOUSTON -- On Saturday, Oct. 4, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., round up the entire gang for Fall Family Day at both locations of Cornelius Nursery garden centers for a huge patch of multi-variety fresh pumpkins and a choice of activities. Adults can get creative juices flowing at free clinic “Creating Fall Landscape Displays” 10:15 a.m. and snap family photos among the bright orange pumpkins at the perfect fall Picture-Taking Place.

The expanded Pumpkin Decorating Workshop with a pro designer assisting can be a family affair. The workshop fee ($40) includes pumpkin of your choice, fabric ribbon and other fun décor. Space is limited so book your spot at the decorating table in advance for the 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. Pumpkin Decorating Workshop. Registration deadline is Oct. 1.

Children also will enjoy a new Mad Science session all about gardening, Story Corner, free popcorn, and Pansy Potty in real ice cream cones to take home and plant.
