HOUSTON, Texas - U.S. troops and Texas-based wounded warriors got an important financial boost from the recent Operation Lock’N’Load Sporting Clays Tournament 2015 held recently at Westside Sporting Grounds in Brookshire.

Operation Lock’N’Load is the annual fundraising event for Texas Sentinels Foundation, which has a mission of providing debt-free, mortgage-free homes as well as other necessary assistance to qualified wounded post-9/11 veterans and their families throughout the state of Texas.

The nonprofit Texas Sentinels Foundation was founded in 2007 by Richard Filip, who is the owner of RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring and RE/MAX Associates Northeast, and his wife, Jeanne. The couple formed the foundation to acknowledge the dedication of American soldiers whose personal sacrifices and heroic deeds are among the most vital steps necessary to ensure that freedom and security are available to all Americans.

For more information or to apply, volunteer, donate money or goods, or to hire a Texas Sentinel, visit the foundation’s website at texassentinels.org.
