Realtor Becky Drake takes to the dance floor at 3rd Annual Dancing for a CAUSE

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Becky Drake, a Realtor at RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring, will be among those tripping the light fantastic at the upcoming South Montgomery County YMCA 3rd Annual Dancing for a CAUSE with The Woodlands Stars. Scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, April 9 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive in The Woodlands, 77380, the fundraiser will benefit the annual YMCA Giving Campaign.

“My best friend was involved in the event the first year, and a fellow Realtor at RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring took part in the fundraiser last year,” Drake said. “Both of them told me it was a lot of fun, and that in addition to raising funds for the various YMCA programs, they realized many personal benefits from their efforts.”

“It’s gratifying to all of us at RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring when an opportunity comes along in which we can support the community that has provided so much for us,” said Danna Furnace-Grimes, director of agent services and relocation director. “Whether it’s helping children or our returning service men and women, the Realtors and staff here are always ready to roll up their sleeves and pitch in to help those in need.”

Selected as Drake’s dancing partner/instructor for the event is Aaron Lumpkin, an instructor at Affinity Ballroom The Woodlands, which has graciously joined the effort by providing dance lessons, choreography and the dance partners for all the community stars.

“As a member of this community where I have been so richly blessed for 32 years, I am honored to be a part of this event,” Drake said. “I’m loving that I am going to be able to give back to the community in this way by helping the YMCA raise money for the children of Montgomery County who need a little extra boost so that they, too, can enjoy the wonderful programs that the YMCA has to offer.”
