Alligator spotted in Creekside Forest subdivision in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Woodlands residents love their community because it allows them the opportunity to get close to nature, but sometimes it’s too close for comfort.

Alligator to be rescued and relocated.


Reported by Woodlands Online affiliate, KHOU News, an alligator was spotted swimming in a small lake in The Woodlands Friday night just feet from where families and kids were playing.

The alligator was spotted in a pond in the Creekside Forest subdivision located in the Village of Creekside Park, the newest village added to the master-planned community.

Bayou City Gator Savers arrived to capture the alligator. Precinct 4 deputies spent the night monitoring the scene and ensuring the crowd kept its distance. The game warden said the were removing it because they didn’t want to take any chances. The alligator will be relocated to a local alligator farm when caught..
