MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – Rusty Fincher, candidate for the position of Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable, announced the endorsement of the Houston Apartment Association.

“It is our pleasure to endorse you, and we appreciate the opportunity to support Rusty Fincher’s campaign,” said Howard M. Bookstaff, General Counsel of the HAA. The owners and managers of approximately 570,000 apartment units in and around the area are represented by the organization.

“This endorsement is significant due to the longtime relationship between the Constable’s office I’ve been proud to have been a part of for the past twenty years and this organization that serves the best interests of those who oversee the numerous apartment complexes in our county and who frequently find themselves in need of the services we offer,” said Fincher.

Fincher joined the Montgomery County Constable’s Office as a Precinct 1 Deputy in 1995, quickly moving up the ranks to sergeant and lieutenant, being promoted to the rank of Captain in 1999, a position he has held ever since working closely with retiring Constable Don Chumley. Fincher has spent his time in the Constable’s office becoming intimately familiar with all aspects of it, making him the only candidate in the race with this qualification. He has also been an integral part of the office’s Lake Conroe Safety Patrol and the multi-jurisdictional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
