THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Interfaith Child Development Center is celebrating their 40th anniversary this month.

Established in 1976, Interfaith Child Development Center is a state-licensed school that serves children 12 months through 4th grade.

“The mission is still the same as it was forty years ago, to inspire children to grow, discover, and develop a love of learning,” said Missy Herndon, president and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Director Lisa Whittle said they are excited to celebrate this milestone.

"For the last 40 years, we have provided an exemplary early childhood education for so many children in The Woodlands," Whittle said. "We feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to make a significant impact in their lives. We look forward to continuing our programs and enriching the lives of the children of this community for many more years to come."

The week-long 40th anniversary celebration will include Oasis for Children coming to present “Mother Goose is on the Loose,” Kona Ice treats for the children and staff provided by the parents club, and the children will participate in fun activities in their classrooms all week long.
