THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Music Department at Lone Star College-Montgomery is teaming up with Interfaith of The Woodlands to create another holiday event for the whole family on Friday, December 9 at 7:30 pm in the Performing Arts Center, Mainstage Theatre (building D).

The concert will include performances by all of the college’s musical groups including the Jazz Combo, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, String Ensemble, and Symphonic Band and includes specials guests from the Woodlands Symphony Orchestra and the Woodlands Area Youth Symphony under the artistic director Darryl Bayer.

Under the direction of LSC-Montgomery music professors Dr. Eiki Isomura, Cristina Mendoza, and Dr. Mark Marotto, the concert will feature an array of traditional carols and familiar holiday favorites, with 100% of ticket proceeds donated to Interfaith of The Woodlands, a faith-based organization that brings people together to build a more loving and caring community through service.

“This concert has always been about bringing the community together, and this year I'm especially proud to see our students playing and singing next to members of the newly formed Woodlands Area Youth Symphony” Mark Marotto, DMA, Chair, Music Department, Lone Star College-Montgomery. “It's the beginning of a wonderful partnership.”

Tickets for the holiday concert cost $10 for general admission; $7 for seniors 55+; and $5 for LSC-Montgomery faculty, staff, and students. Additional donations will be accepted on the date of the concert as well.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.LoneStar.edu/ticket-info. To make a donation or for more information, contact Ian Mosher, program coordinator for fine arts at LSC-Montgomery, at (936) 273-7021. For more information about Interfaith of the Woodlands, visit www.woodlandsinterfaith.org.
