Self-storage facility opens in Sterling Ridge

THE WOODLANDS, Texas --– The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC), and its wholly- owned subsidiary The Woodlands® Development Company, announced the recent opening of its second self-storage property, a 784-unit gated facility at 32010 FM 2978 in The Woodlands’ Village of Sterling Ridge.

An official ribbon cutting ceremony took place at the company’s first self-storage facility, located at 6735 College Park Drive.

CubeSmart, one of the national leaders in the self-storage industry, manages the facilities. "The Howard Hughes Corporation understands that with the many new home opportunities in The Woodlands, there is a need in our community for self-storage,” said Jim Carman, Vice President of Commercial Development for The Woodlands Development Company. “We are proud to offer a quality product with a high standard in security.”

Security features within both fully fenced facilities include a gated entry, video surveillance, and individual entry alarms installed on each unit. Both new facilities in The Woodlands offer usage of a free moving truck. Climate controlled and drive-up access units are available. Supplies for storage and moving will be sold in the leasing center.
