THE WOODLANDS, TX - The contested elections for Montgomery County Municipal Utility District Nos. 7, 46, 47 and 60 originally set for May 2, 2020 were postponed at the April 2020 meetings until November 3, 2020.
This decision was driven by proclamations from Governor Abbott declaring a state of disaster for all counties in Texas regarding the COVID-19 virus and suspending provisions of the Texas Election Code.
The Woodlands Water MUD districts with uncontested elections authorized an order declaring the candidates elected under the same proclamation.
