WOODLANDS WEEKEND WEATHER – Looks like you picked the wrong week to wash your car
THE WOODLANDS, TX – We’re going full-on dreary this weekend; the only thing keeping the weather from feeling like the winter holidays is the still-summerlike temperatures.
Sporadic storms, rallying rains, and culminating clouds will make for a dank weekend
As the cloud cover decreases throughout the say, ironically the chances of isolated thunderstorms will increase. The thermometer will only get up to 89 (but add ten degrees to the heat index thanks to the wet air) and settle tonight for a low in the mid 70s.
Overnight the clouds will dissipate for the most part, but will make an encore presentation throughout Saturday. Early evening will see a spike in both cloud coverage and rain chances as the high temp once again broaches into the low 90s (but feeling like 102, so no matter how much water is on the outside, be sure to hydrate).
Sunday will feel much the same, with clouds coming and going and an afternoon chance of thunderstorms as the high hits 93. The storms will be brief and then settle down for the night, but come Monday morning you can forget the sunglasses and dropping the top on your convertible, as it looks like we have an entire week of rain ahead of us…
Stay tuned for weather updates from Woodlands Online, and be sure to check us out on Monday for our “Week Ahead” forecast.
