Registration is open for Meals on Wheels’ 2023 Great Pumpkin Shoot

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Meals on Wheels Montgomery County has announced that registration has begun for the annual Great Pumpkin Shoot fundraising event. From now until August 1, early bird pricing is available for participants. The Shoot itself takes place October 6 at Able’s Sporting in Huntsville.

The Great Pumpkin Shoot is a clay-shooting event that helps feed local homebound seniors and veterans, as evidenced by the tagline Taking Aim at Senior Hunger. Team registration includes breakfast, clays, ammo, a golf cart, lunch, and adult beverages. Additionally, sponsorship opportunities are available.

As an extra incentive, from now until August 1, whoever refers the most registered teams will receive four field-level tickets to a 2023 Houston Astros home game (some restrictions apply); the package also includes four Gallagher dining passes and an autographed baseball from Mr. October himself, Reggie Jackson.
