THE WOODLANDS, TX – The newest amenity at the recently renovated Woodlands Resort – The Spruce Market – is offering some special deals in honor of The Woodlands Township’s upcoming 50th birthday, which coincides with the Resort’s own golden celebration of a half-century in business.

The Spruce Market is a new casual dining, coffee and wine destination with a waterfront patio that includes a unique retail store featuring a myriad of specialty items sourced from small businesses, artisans, designers and makers from The Woodlands and across Texas. Shopping highlights range from fashion accessories and honey harvested from The Resort’s own hives to Winfield’s chocolates and regionally produced olive oils.

For the celebration, simply present your driver’s license or an item with your Woodlands area zip code to enjoy the following perks:

• Beginning October 16 and until supplies last, the first 50 hometown guests to purchase a coffee or beverage at the Spruce Market will receive a commemorative piece of artwork created by Woodlands-based illustrator Judith Dollar.

• Throughout November, locals will enjoy a 50% discount on coffee at The Spruce Market every Monday through Friday between 7 and 10 a.m.

• In December, when residents spend $50 or more on retail items at The Spruce Market, they will be treated to a complimentary cocktail at The Lobby Bar.
