Washington High School Students Compete in HEB Gingerbread House Contest

CONROE, TX -- Washington High School students decorated gingerbread houses for a chance to win prizes from HEB.

HEB provided the gingerbread house kits for each of the participating students, whose houses were judged on construction, theme, and creativity. Representatives from HEB, WHS Principal Nina Norman and the Conroe ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department served as judges.

Three seniors were awarded the prizes as Asul Ortega Ayestas won first, Elijah Quintanilla won second, and Cristian Hernandez won third.

The three winning gingerbread houses will be on display near the bakery in the HEB location at 2108 N. Frazier Street in Conroe throughout the holidays.
