Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center hosts its 2023 holiday party

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center, a first-of-its-kind center in the greater Houston area located on the campus of the Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, recently held its annual holiday party, where the media, former and current patients, family members, and staff got together for fellowship, friendship, and forging new memories.

"We have well over 100 people here throughout the party who have come to celebrate the season," said Marcella Herrera, the center's Program Manager.

The event featured hors d'oeuvres, holiday-themed libations, desserts, tours of the facility, and more.

Canopy offers a wide variety of free programs and services addressing the emotional, physical and social needs of those touched by cancer, and is open to all regardless of if they are a patient – or family member of a patient – of Memorial Hermann or not. The Center serves as the primary location for activities aimed at helping patients and families throughout all phases of their illness, as well as assistance in navigating life after treatment.
