Rivela Plastic Surgery is hosting a fundraiser for a local cancer patient

THE WOODLANDS, TX – “Richard is a Marine, an amazing father and grandfather. He is the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back and help you in your time of need. We want to be here for him during his time of need. His fight is our fight.”

This is what Patti Rivela, the marketing and community outreach director of Rivela Plastic Surgery had to say when the business decided to put together a special fundraiser to benefit Richard Sathe, who is battling pancreatic cancer.

The fundraising event will take place at Deacon Baldy’s, 5447 FM 1488, on Monday, January 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. It will feature auction items and raffles, barbecue, and live music with Yelba.

One of the larger auction items is a week’s stay and a cottage in Ireland on the coast of County Cork. Other auction items that will be available that night will be three areas of Botox (64 units), $900 in Juvederm, a skin pen with Prf, and so much more.

Patti and Lucian Rivela have known Richard Sathe for more than ten years, when he started dating the clinic’s office manager of 25 years. Richard and Tracy were married in a small beautiful ceremony in the Rivelas’ backyard in 2018.

“We want to give special thanks to Mike League for donating the barbecue, and Yelba and Roy for donating their time,” said Patti. “And our extra special thanks to the O’Learys for their donation of their home in Ireland, and to everyone who worked so hard to make all the donations from Rivela Plastic Surgery possible. We really hope that people come, eat some great barbecue, buy some raffle tickets and give Richard and his family your encouragement and support.”
