THE WOODLANDS, TX – Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council continues the excitement of the Girl Scout Cookie Program with one week left of sales, ending on Sunday, March 24. Cookie customers can order cookies online or visit booths in person to support their favorite troops in the Greater Houston area.

This year, GSSJC reintroduced classic cookie flavors, such as Adventurefuls, Toast-Yay!, Lemonades, Trefoils, Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Sandwich, and Caramel Chocolate Chip.

“Each Girl Scout cookie season opens a door to endless possibilities for our girls and their troops,” said Mary Vitek, chief executive officer of GSSJC. “Through the cookie program, girls learn essential life skills, develop confidence, and build a foundation for future success.”

All proceeds from Girl Scout cookie sales play a crucial role in supporting various initiatives, such as covering program costs, empowering community projects, investing in Girl Scout programs and local impact, supporting cookie program and vendor costs, and rewarding troops with recognitions.

Many Girl Scouts use cookie sale funds to send their troop or other troops in the Council to camp throughout the year. Girl Scout summer camp registration is now open for overnight and day camp.
