Concert for Hope: A Night of Music and Awareness coming to The Woodlands Apr. 25

The Woodlands, TX – On April 25, come to Market Street in The Woodlands for a night that promises great music and the chance to make a significant impact. The Montgomery County Child Welfare Board, in collaboration with Child Protective Services Nonprofit Board, invites you to Concert for Hope, an evening of live music shining a spotlight on child abuse prevention. The benefit concert, which runs from 6 - 8:30 p.m. (with gates opening at 5:45 p.m.), will feature Lloyd McCarter & The Honky Tonk Revival.

During the event’s intermission, special proclamations will be read to recognize the significance and importance of April as Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month. Organizers ask all attendees to wear blue in recognition of the event and its purpose, symbolizing the community's collective stand against child abuse.

The Montgomery County Child Welfare Board (MCCWB) is a vital organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for children in foster care within our community. Working closely with Child Protective Services, MCCWB plays a crucial role in ensuring the welfare and safety offoster children, providing resources and support to meet their needs, and promoting awareness about child abuse prevention.

The Concert for Hope will also feature community partners who serve our children in foster care. The concert provides an invaluable opportunity for the community tolearn more about the various organizations that contribute to the safety and well-being of these vulnerable children and how they can support these efforts.
