IRONMAN Texas seeks volunteers

THE WOODLANDS, TX – IRONMAN Texas is putting out a request for volunteers to sign up to help at this year’s triathlon event. The immensely popular swim-bike-run race will take place on Saturday, April 27; however, Race Week taking place from Tuesday, April 23 through Sunday, April 28 will also require a total of approximately 3,000 volunteers for multiple events.

The event, sponsored by Memorial Hermann, will bring more than 3,000 athletes to The Woodlands. Volunteers are needed for multiple categories, including

  • Bike Course Environmental
  • Bike Course Pointer Food Delivery
  • Bike Course Pointers

  • Bike Handlers
  • Bike Transition / Screening
  • Crowd Control
  • Finish Line Awards
  • Finish Line Catchers
  • Gear Bags Pickup
  • Ironkids Check-in and Registration
  • Ironkids Race Asstistance
  • Jet Skis (provide your own)
  • Kayak (must provide kayak)
  • Men’s Changing Tent
  • Paddleboards (provide your own)
  • Power Boats (provide your own)

Some of these areas are in greater need, including the Bike and Run Aid Stations, Bike Special Needs, and Crowd Control areas.
