THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Spring Creek Chapter NSDAR was honored to have DAR Honorary President General and America250 Commission member, Lynn Forney Young speak at their April 11th meeting in The Woodlands. Mrs. Young gave an overview of the the America250 commission and the DAR America 250! committee. She stated, 'America250 is a non partisan initiative working to engage every American in commemorating the 25th anniversary of our country. This multi-year effort, from now through July 4, 2026, is an opportunity to pause and reflect on our nation's past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead toward the future we want to create for the next generation and beyond.'
