Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber unveils speaker and topic lineup for inaugural Hispanic Business Symposium - Adelante!

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber (MCHC) is excited to announce the lineup of speakers and topics for its highly anticipated Hispanic Business Symposium - Adelante! The event culminates with NASA Astronaut and Entrepreneur Dr. José Hernández. This exciting event is set to unfold on Friday, May 31, at the Lone Star College-System Office Community Building, with doors opening at 7am.

Adelante! promises to provide insights, strategies, networking for business professionals from across Montgomery County and the Houston area. With a diverse array of speakers and topics, attendees will have the opportunity to gain practical wisdom and current trends within the Hispanic business community.

This year MCHC is excited to have Dr. Hedith Sauceda Upshaw as host and emcee for the event. In addition to serving as an MCHC board member, she’s an Assistant Superintendent for Teaching & Learning with the Conroe Independent School District.

• Telemundo to provide an update on the trends in Hispanic multimedia.
• J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. will be sharing the current financial landscape in the Hispanic business community.
• The Woodlands Area EDP to provide an update on the economic impact to the local economy by the growing Hispanic community.

A panel comprised of Hispanic Business Leaders, to be moderated by MCHC Board Chair Julio Resendez:

• Eliecer Viamontes - Chair, President, and CEO (Entergy Texas)
• Erwin Caban – Sr. Associate General Counsel (Howard Hughes)
• Mario Castillo – Chancellor (Lone Star College System)
• NASA Astronaut and Entrepreneur Dr. José Hernández will close the day as the keynote speaker.
