Application deadline for Young Makers Market is today

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The first ever Young Makers Market produced by The Woodlands Arts Council is coming to Market Street on September 7. Young artists in grades 3 through 12 for the 2024 - 2025 school year, are invited to apply to sell and display their original creations in this one-day mini art festival. Applications close today, April 30, and applicants will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.

At the festival, students will learn about entrepreneurship, marketing, and what it is like to be a working artist in workshops before the big event.

Applications require three images of artwork that reflects what the young maker intends to sell (.png and .jpeg files only). Applicants notified of acceptance on May 15. Workshops will be held August 17 and August 24. The rain date for the market will be September 14.
