Conroe ISD Announces Closure for Friday, May 3

CONROE, TX -- All Conroe ISD schools will be closed on Friday, May 3, due to the anticipated conditions following the release of water from Lake Conroe, the aftermath of Thursday’s heavy rain and flash flooding, and the uncertain weather forecast overnight and tomorrow morning.

While all school-sponsored after-school activities are canceled, UIL baseball and softball games may still be played. The Conroe High School Prom on Friday, May 3, and the Caney Creek High School Prom on Saturday, May, will still take place as scheduled.
