About Us
Woodlands based Brighton Our World (BOW) has the mission to bring inspiration and opportunity to every child, through children impacting children.
Our vision is to empower children to make a positive impact on the world, starting from an early age. We believe that compassion leads to change and that compassionate children today lead to community leaders tomorrow. We want to create a world where children understand the value of generosity and are motivated to meet the needs of other children in unfortunate situations.
Brighton Our World (BOW) is a nonprofit that started with a simple idea: a mom wanted to teach her daughters the value of generosity. While BOW has roots that go back to 2009, in many ways, we're just getting started. Learn more about some of our programs and how you can help!
We're working hard to build age-appropriate programs that show our young helpers the tangible impact they're making on the world and the people around them. Here are a few of our initiatives:
• Scholarship Opportunities: We're creating scholarships for families who need childcare but can't afford it.
• Curriculum Outreach: We're working alongside schools in impoverished areas so all students can access excellent educational opportunities, regardless of demographics.
• Chores 4 Change: We're teaching children the value of hard work while providing them with the resources to help those around them.
At BOW, we also believe in bringing communities together through our Family Serve Days and BOW Gives BOWs initiatives. These programs provide opportunities for families to serve together and meet the needs of children in our community and beyond.
We are grateful for the support of our sponsors, who share our vision and help us make a difference in the world. Our sponsors come from small businesses to large corporations, and we appreciate their contributions to our cause.
