Dr. Don Stockton Exclusive 1-on-1 Interview - Part I

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- In part one of an exclusive three-part interview with Woodlands Online, Dr. Don Stockton talks about how he came from a math teacher in Lafayette, Indiana, to be the Superintendent of Conroe Independent School District.

Dr. Stockton also points out some of the current challenges faces Conroe ISD, as well as some rapid fire questions.

Dr. Don Stockton was appointed the Conroe ISD Superintendent in August of 2003. Dr. Stockton started as a math teacher and coach before serving as an Assistant Principal, Principal, Assistant Superintendent, and Interim Superintendent.

Dr. Stockton holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Purdue University, obtained his Mid-Management Certification from Sam Houston State University and has a Doctorate of Education in Administration from Texas A&M University.
